Larnaca International Airport Passenger Retail Concourse
Working with Portland Associates, one of the best Travel Retail Design groups around, I led the design team in delivering the new 65000sq ft Retail Concourse. This project presented the opportunity to move airport retail forward through a much greater emphasis on experience, with a high level of tastings, trials and events. Included in this was a connoisseur zone such as Usige Bertha - an ARI-CTC developed concept (which means water of life in Gaelic); it concentrates on whisky and responds to the consumer trends for connoisseurship and status through knowledge. Larnaca Duty Free represents a new benchmark in duty free retailing and is a celebration of the best of what Cyprus has to offer in terms of the culture, arts, crafts and their way of life.
